Great gift
I give this as a gift to my foodie friends, especially those who like greek and middle eastern dishes. They rave over it.
The word Za'atar means "thyme." Wild-harvested from the hills of Palestine near Jenin, the thyme is dried and blended with roasted sesame seeds, ground sumac, and a touch of salt. Women-owned cooperatives do the work to bring some spice to your table.
Za'atar can be used as a seasoning in almost any savory dish, but is traditionally enjoyed as a breakfast dish, served with a bowl of olive oil and a loaf of fresh bread for dipping. We think it's a healthy, tasty treat any time of day!
Keeps indefinitely when refrigerated or frozen. 150g box.

I used this spice with Impossible meat substitute to make koftas. It is delicious and we created a whole meal around it that has perked up our quarantine repertoire. Giving it now as a gift!
This is a WONDERFUL spice!! Recently started on old style mediterranean diet and use this spice in so many dishes.
