Support Our Orchards

( 4 Reviews )

Koinonia Farm has over 1,500 pecan trees that we care for sustainably. Some trees are only a few years old and some are over 50 years old! We are looking for people to support these orchards so we can continue our life and work. Won't you join us in this effort? The pecan trees need constant care and we need donors to help fund that care.

Make a tax-deductible donation of $150 or more and this will allow Koinonia to continue to care for our trees, old and new, by keeping the soil healthy, the trees watered and happy, and our supplies and tools updated and ready to work.

As with all our orchards, these trees will be kept happy and healthy with only sustainable methods. We work from the soil up using compost tea and other amendments. Healthy soil means healthy food for the trees and for those who buy our pecans.

You can make a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one. You can also request a certificate be sent to the family or friend of those being remembered or honored.

Working in the orchard and helping with the harvest in 2000 & 2001

I have great memories of Jim and I plus others picking up tree branches in the orchard and helping with the harvest of pecans. This tree is in memory of my late husband Jim Herrick and others who we enjoyed the fellowship with during our time volunteering at Koinonia.
