These have a story.
Years ago, some of our pecans were accidentally smoked in a warehouse fire. Turns out they were just plain good—so we started doing it on purpose.
Today, we still smoke our pecan halves low and slow in our smokehouse, over hickory wood we gather here at Koinonia. They sit steady over the fire, taking on that deep, smoky flavor, then are lightly salted and finished by hand.
What began by accident has become one of the things we're known for.
