Za'atar ("thyme") is the most beloved spice mix in Palestine. It is traditionally eaten for breakfast with olive oil and fresh flat bread. Canaan Women's Cooperatives make Za'atar according to tradition with freshly harvested and fried oregano, roasted sesame seeds, and sumac. It pairs perfectly wilt olive oil as a delicious marinade for meat or a zesty seasoning for vegetables, Sprinkle it on cream cheese, yogurt, or toasted bread for the perfect accent.
Keeps indefinitely when refrigerated or frozen. 150g box.
I give this as a gift to my foodie friends, especially those who like greek and middle eastern dishes. They rave over it.

Impossible Middle Eastern Feast
I used this spice with Impossible meat substitute to make koftas. It is delicious and we created a whole meal around it that has perked up our quarantine repertoire. Giving it now as a gift!
