A journey around the world—and a reminder of how much we share.
From the hills of Nepal to the jungles of the Congo, David Snell has traveled far beyond the usual tourist destinations. Along the way, he has found adventure, unexpected challenges, extraordinary hospitality, and friendships in some of the world's most unlikely places.
He kept journals.
Lots of them.
In The Tattered Passport, David draws on those journals to share his adventures and misadventures in Nicaragua, North Korea, Peru, Haiti, Armenia, Sri Lanka, and many other places. Through it all, he discovered something that stayed with him: wherever we live, whatever our circumstances, we are neighbors.
David is the president of the Fuller Center for Housing, an organization that grew out of the movement for partnership housing begun at Koinonia Farm. Like Habitat for Humanity, the Fuller Center carries that vision into communities around the world.
David and the Fuller Center remain close friends and partners of Koinonia. We're especially glad to share his book with you.
