The story of a community that opened its doors to refugees and discovered what it means to welcome the stranger.

In 1979, Don Mosley and a small group of friends helped establish Jubilee Partners, a Christian community in northeast Georgia dedicated to living out their faith through hospitality, service, and peacemaking.

What began as a commitment to welcome refugees grew into a remarkable ministry. Over the years, Jubilee Partners has helped thousands of people fleeing war and persecution find safety, friendship, and a new beginning. Its members have also worked for peace and reconciliation in places divided by violence and conflict.

In Faith Beyond Borders, Don Mosley, writing with Joyce Hollyday, tells the story of Jubilee Partners and the people whose lives have shaped the community. It is a story of faith put into practice, of crossing boundaries, and of discovering what becomes possible when strangers become neighbors.

Jubilee Partners grew out of the same movement of Christian community and partnership housing that began at Koinonia Farm and gave rise to Habitat for Humanity. Our communities remain close friends, sharing a commitment to the teachings of Jesus and to the work of reconciliation.
